In recent days, one after another, retro design motorcycles are imported to the Nepali market. However, motorcycle enthusiasts are still waiting for the arrival of the Yamaha XSR 155 here in our country.
Rumored was, the 2021 Model of Yamaha XSR 155 was to launch in Mid June to July of this year. Unfortunately, Yamaha India decided not to launch XSR 155 in the Indian market, hence the result was seen in Nepali market as well.
Instead, they launched another 150cc bike from Yamaha, which disappointed many Yamaha motorcycles fans in Nepal and India.

Looking at its aesthetic and design, the new Yamaha XSR 155 is inspired by the ‘Yamaha Sports Heritage’ system similar to XSR 700 and XSR 900, which are currently available in the international markets.
However, the mechanical parts are taken from the R15 V3.
The company is already selling MT-15 Street Fighter designs using the same engine in the international auto markets.
The Chassis, inverted telescopic front fork, rear mono-shock, engine, and some components have been taken from the specified Thai MT-15 for the new XSR 155.
The Yamaha XSR 155 is equipped with a round full LED headlamp, full LED tail-lamp, a tear-dropped fuel tank, and a flat single-piece seat that complement its old-school appeal.
Furthermore, inspired by the retro design, the Yamaha XSR 155 has sports headlamp struts, a restructured sump guard, and a reshaped exhaust plate with a pore-like style inspired by the retro motorbikes.
Talking about its engine specifications, the Yamaha XSR 155 is powered by a 155 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers a maximum power of 18.6 HP @ 10,000 rpm a maximum torque of 14.7 Nm.
It used the same delta-box frame and has a 6-speed gearbox along with an assist, which is pretty impressive. It also comes with a slipper clutch.
The Yamaha XSR 155 top speed is 135 kmph.
The XSR 155 has a total fuel capacity of 10 liters only, but it should have come up with a bigger fuel tank, but neither less; for a 155 cc motorcycle, 10 liters fuel tank quite all right.
