2021 New Yamaha FZX Adventure Motorcycle Could Steal Your Heart.
Yamaha FZX will be based on the 250 cc segment, which reinforces FZS-25 and FZ25.
A few months ago, we came to know that Yamaha had registered another fresh trademark named ‘FZX.’
FZX ADV was guessed to be the company’s new adventure motorcycle offering in our neighboring country India and is supposed to arrive in Nepal at the end of 2021.
Their upcoming adventure Yamaha FZX will be based on the 250 cc segment, which reinforces FZS-25 and FZ25.
Thanks to ‘D by Akash’, who uploaded the digitally rendered picture of the new Yamaha ADV motorcycle on the social media platform.
The motorcycle looks more like FZ25, where its style and aesthetic have been tweaked to make it look more like an ADV,’ Adventure Tourer Motorcycle.
Ok, now first, let’s get started with Yamaha FZX design and looks.
Since the motorcycle is supposed to be ADV, it comes with an additional windscreen at the front side to prevent the wind to burst towards you.
Also, the headlight cluster gets a bit different.
Like FZS-25 and FZ25, it gets the same tank shrouds.
Unlike engine cowl, the Yamaha FZX engine now gets the new belly pan, which is the latest trend in most ADV motorcycles; it also receives a knuckle protector around the handlebar, making it look more attractive and minimizing risk as well.
The exhaust pipe seems to be ordinary, upswept, but it doesn’t blend well with the motorcycle’s design.
Yamaha FZX raked-up split seats seem to be broad and comfortable.
Split seats help to prevent overloaded pressure from the rider’s arms and avoid co-rider slipping on top of your back.
Yamaha FZX gets the new rack to load up the luggage too, making the rider free from carrying the unnecessary luggage hassle while riding on the extended tour.
The rendered design also displays the dual side bolted grab rails for pillion convenience instead of a single point fixed grab rail.
Additional refined but significant alterations comprise a flatter number-plate mount and small fender.
And did you notice that Yamaha FZX will be coming with wire-spoke wheels as opposed to alloy wheels?
Since the former delivers improved grip to tyres when attempting off-tarmac.
Another surprising fact about Yamaha FZX is that both tyres are entirely different from each other.
Unlike its front tyre, the rear tyre is much knobbier and broader.
The Yamaha FZX comes with dual-purpose (Block Pattern) tyres on both wheels.
Yamaha FZX: Engine Specifications & Performance
Although the Yamaha FZX is supposed to be ADV and the built design is a biased version of the adventure motorcycle, the engine specifications of this motorcycle are expected to be similar to those in the naked streetfighter bikes.
The total displacement of this upcoming motorbike has 249 cc, while its engine type is expected to be a single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, and expected to deliver maximum power of 20.6 bhp and a maximum torque of 20 Nm
It should have included six gearboxes but instead only comes mated with five-speed manual gearbox transmission.
Furthermore, the suspension setup of the Yamaha FZX is likely to remain the same but with a bit of tweak to offer a bit of extra travel.
In recent times, the entry-level Adventure motorcycle been doing very well in good numbers.
While their demand and popularity rise, the numerous manufacturers are focusing on this segment with their new product launches and offerings.
The new upcoming Yamaha FZX will be competing against its rivals like the KTM 250 ADV, Royal Enfield Himalayan, Hero Xpulse 200, and the BMW G 310 S in the Nepali market.
The FZ X is expected to be available in the Nepali market within a few months of its launch in India.
