The Genesis GV80 four-seat Prestige Signature Trim.
The Genesis GV80 receives a four-seat Prestige Signature trim package for 2022.
The new Prestige Signature model is for you, whether you like to be chauffeured in your Genesis GV80 or if you want to treat your kids to an ultra-luxurious back seat.
This latest version of the mid-size luxury SUV has a four-seat arrangement that incorporates heated, cooled, and power-adjustable rear-seat captain’s chairs.
Here are the major highlights:
- The Prestige Signature trim level is new for the 2022 Genesis GV80.
- Around 600 units will be sold in the United States, and this model will set you back $78,295.
- It’s a four-seater with heated, cooled, and power-adjustable second-row captain’s chairs.
Unfortunately, only 600 cars will be sold in the United States, and it costs $78,295—$4500 more than an equipped GV80 3.5T Prestige.
In the US version, Genesis hasn’t provided a shot of the rear thrones, but we’re guessing they’ll be comparable to the ones seen in the global GV80 (pictured below).
The 22-inch 10-spoke wheels and matte paint on the GV80 Prestige Signature make it stand out. Unfortunately, only two color schemes are available: matte grey with a black inside or matte white with a blue and beige interior.
This Genesis isn’t inexpensive, but it’s a steal compared to comparable premium SUVs with similar four-seat configurations.
For example, the new Ultra Luxury edition of the Lexus LX600 starts at $120,000, while the Mercedes-Maybach GLS reaches $160,000.
Volvo previously had an Excellence trim level on the XC90, but it was phased off in the United States a few years ago.
If you choose the $69,095 3.5T AWD Advanced+ configuration, the regular 2022 GV80 is still available as a five-seat two-row model or a seven-seat three-row model.
The base 2.5T RWD model starts at $51,295 and goes up from there.
