Suzuki DR150- Overview
The VG Suzuki, the official distributor of Suzuki motorcycles in Nepal, is preparing to launch their new Adventure bike, the Suzuki DR150, soon in the Nepali market.
Different models of motorcycle, sold in countries like Indonesia and the Philippines, is not available in India and Nepal. However, the market for this segment is expanding in Nepal and India.
Design
The looks and design of the DR150 seem sleek and adventurous.
It includes features like halogen headlamps, LCD instrument cluster, 12.5-litre capacity fuel tank, front disc, and rear drum brakes are available in DR150.
At a glance, Suzuki’s 150cc adventure motorcycle DR150 is similar to the Honda XR150 and Yamaha XTZ150 sold by Honda and Yamaha.
This motorcycle has a seat height of 839 mm and a ground clearance of 244 mm, making it safe to ride over bumps in the road or puddles when it rains.
Brakes and Suspensions
For off-road travel, the company has given 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel wheels.
The front telescopic front difference and the rear mono-shock suspension can be found.
This motorcycle rim features spokes with 90/90 R17 profiled Tyres at the rear and 110/90 R19 profiled Tyres at the front to improve offroad capabilities.
Engine Specifications
The Suzuki DR150 is powered by a 149 cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine.
The engine delivers a maximum of 12.3 PS of power and 12.7 Nm of torque.
With a trim engine configuration and a fuel tank capacity of 12.5 litres, this motorcycle is relatively light, weighing only 139 kg.
The company has not officially revealed the launch date and Price of DR150.
