Maruti Suzuki has finally announced its new SUV launch in mid-2022, with the all-new Brezza being the first of the anticipated releases.
Some spy images of the all-new second-generation model have already been released online, and here’s a computer-generated image based on ACI’s spy shots.
The improvements are intended to strengthen its position in the subcompact SUV sector.
To begin with, the new Maruti Suzuki Brezza will be lacking the ‘Vitara’ prefix, just as Maruti Suzuki did with the ‘Zen’ acronym from the Zen Estilo when the tallboy hatchback had a slight facelift during its lifespan.
It will also have a box design, similar to the already available type on the market. However, the design aesthetic will be extensively altered to make it look radically different from the model it will replace.

According to spy pictures, the new Suzuki Brezza will feature considerable changes to the front end.
The SUV’s revised front face features a sharper grille and new headlamps with LED projectors and daytime running LEDs.
The SUV will have a clamshell bonnet and a reworked boot lid design.
The new Breeza will be built on the same Global C platform as the S-Cross and Vitara international models.
The SUV’s bodyshell and doors will remain the same. However, the new Brezza tailgate will be restyled; new LED tail lamps have a new chrome casing stamped with the ‘Brezza’ nameplate.
The license plate housing is located a little lower on the boot lid i: e, the number plate will be lower.
Between the new wraparound taillights and the new bumper with the faux skid plate, the BREZZA lettering will be placed.
What’s Inside The New 2022 Breeza?
The current interior layout of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza will be replaced with a new one that is less dated.
The new design will include the latest features, such as a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system that will be larger than the present Smartplay Studio system and run on a whole new operating system with additional display modes.
The instrument console will not have a full-color TFT screen, but it will have a small TFT screen for the MIDI. In addition, single-zone automated climate control, push start-stop button, e-SIM based connected car features, wireless charger, paddle shifters for automatic transmission variations, and a single-pane sunroof, which is a first for a Maruti Suzuki vehicle, are among the features that have been confirmed.
Furthermore, it will also include some other features like a Sim-based connectivity package with geo-fencing, intrusion detection, real-time tracking, finding your car, and other linked functions.
Engine Specifications & Performance
It will include a 1.5-liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that is expected to be retained under the skin of the new Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
The engine produces 105 horsepower and 138 Nm of maximum torque in its present mild-hybrid configuration.
However, Maruti Suzuki is likely to tune this engine with better power and torque outputs and efficiency figures to compete with its direct competitors’ more powerful turbo-petrol engine alternatives.

The New Maruti Suzuki Brezza will significantly increase the price in the higher-spec variants due to the extra features and a more premium outward appeal.
