The Santa Cruz is an upcoming four-door compact pickup truck loaded with some premium features.
And finally, in 2020, Hyundai premium pickup the Santa Cruz came to preparation.

The name Santa Cruz is inspired by its very own top model, the Hyundai Santa Fe.

It may seem that other pickup trucks like Toyota Hilux, Nissan Navara, and Ford Ranger could be direct competitors of Cruz.
As for now, the company hasn’t mentioned any detailed information about its price.
Although the price of Cruz is still not yet confirmed, it will probably cost $ 25,000 in the US market.
It will likely to go on sale from mid 2021.
Design & Aesthetics
It has a prominent futuristic front cascading radiator grille and an aggressive body design similar to Tucson’s.
It will compete with Nissan’s Frontier, Toyota’s Tacoma and Honda’s Rizline in the global market.
The design is slightly different from the concept version as the brand’s design language has evolved through the years.
The Cruz feature a split headlamp which is perfectly matched with the modern design flow.

The Hyundai Pickup will be available in four different variants:

According to the company, the SE & SEL model gets 2.5 litres inline-4 engine with a 190 plus hp.
This delivers 3500 pounds of pulling capability and a 1748-pound load score.
Both of these models come with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a standard 4-wheel drive.
Inside the cabin, the SE model comes with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, whereas the SEL gets a power driver’s seat, blind-spot monitoring, heated front seats and proximity key entry, while the all-wheel drive is optional.
On the other hand, SEL Premium and Limited Trim models get a more powerful turbocharged 2.5 litres inline-4, producing 275 plus hp.
The company reported that its engine has a maximum pulling rating is up to 5000 pounds.
The powertrain gets an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and comes with optional standard front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
The SEL Premium offers automatic climate control, LED headlights, whereas Limited Trim models come with additional features like a 10.3-inch infotainment screen, cooled front seats and a premium sound system.
The new Hyundai Santa Cruz is available in 6 different colours– Blue Stone, Hampton Grey, Desert Sand, Sage Gray, Ice White and Phantom Black.
Santa Cruz In Asian Market
The new Hyundai Pickup coming to the Asian market, will have a different gearbox.
The HTRAC system in it, transmits power to all four wheels through the paddle shifter function.
it will have longer wheelbase than Tucson. This pickup truck with 20-inch alloy wheels has a towing capacity of up to 2,268 kg.
The dashboard features a 10-inch touchscreen, an optional 10-inch instrument cluster, Bose’s audio system, even under-seat storage, and a leather seat cover.
It will include additional features like forwarding Collision Avoidance, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Warning for safety.
Santa Cruz, which is expected to arrive in Nepal in early 2022, and will be sold by Lakshmi Intercontinental, Hyundai’s official distributor in Nepal.
