Upcoming Royal Enfield Scram- Scrambler From RE.
Royal Enfield Scram- Overview
Previously, we’ve seen some Royal Enfield Scrambler versions, but they were all modifications to existing RE motorcycles.
The most recent development, however, indicates that Royal Enfield is working on its own Scrambler model.
Royal Enfield has previously patented the names Flying Fly, Roadster, Hunter, Sherpa, etc. In this wave, a new term has been registered.
The trademark application was submitted just a few days ago.
Royal Enfield recently applied for a patent for the term “Royal Enfield Scram.”
The application was submitted only a few days ago, on May 20, 2021, as seen in the image above.
The application’s status is “Formalities Chk Pass.” There is currently no extra information available on the topic.
According to rumours, the name “Royal Enfield Scram” may be applied to a brand-new scrambler-style motorcycle built on RE’s trendy 650cc platform.
Royal Enfield’s 650cc platform is undeniably impressive, and it will serve as the basis for several new models.
In reality, the Chennai-based firm filed a trademark application for the name “Royal Enfield Shotgun” just last month.
Although official details aren’t available, it’s been speculated that it could be used for the brand’s upcoming 650cc Cruiser, which has already been spotted testing several times.
The 648cc parallel-twin engine that currently powers the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 will be used in all future Royal Enfield motorcycles based on the 650cc model.
It’s an air/oil-cooled engine with a 6-speed transmission and an assist and slipper clutch.
The motor will produce 47 horsepower at 7250 rpm and 52 Nm of peak torque at 5250 rpm.
At the same time, the discussion has started about the new bike Scram to be brought by Royal Enfield.
The details of the Scram name include motorcycles, motorized scooters, electrically powered vehicles, land vehicles, engines for land vehicles, etc.
It is expected that Scram bikes will be available in the market in the future to provide bikes of different tastes to the customers.
