Mercedes previews its first virtual show car!

Mercedes First Virtual Show Car – Overview

Gorden Wagener, Chief Design Officer at Mercedes-Benz, teases the company’s first show car that is entirely virtual on Instagram.

The vehicle may make its premiere during the 2022 League of Legends World Championship, which spans from September 29 to November 5.

This is based on the hashtags he uses in the tweet.

In Wagener’s teaser, the car is covered in a transparent tarp that allows viewers to see the car underneath. Its lines are exceptionally rounded in general.

The front of the car has a rectangular grille with an illuminated Mercedes logo in the center.

Vertical light strips serve as the headlights. The fenders protrude significantly from the body.

According to the dimensions, the vehicle appears to be a coupe.

The form of the exhibition car resembles a recent Mercedes-AMG Vision AMG Concept slightly more than usual.

Although this model’s passenger compartment is more bulbous, both models have several curves.

Mercedes envisions the Vision AMG Concept as the future design of an electrified performance sedan.

It would utilize axial flux motors and travel on the AMG.EA vehicle architecture.

The multiplayer online battle arena video game genre includes League of Legends.

The most popular competitive mode pits two teams of five players against one another to demolish their base.

They can also murder other players to obtain gold and experience points.

The game’s potential use of this Mercedes remains unclear.

However, the car might theoretically perform this role since some playable characters ride animals or operate cars.

The developer of League of Legends is Riot Games.

So it asked Lil Nas X to provide a theme song for the global championship this year.

Riot Games and Mercedes have previously collaborated on projects like the League of Legends World Championship.

For example, the rings that the event winners got last year were created with assistance from Mercedes. Wagener, at the time, shared a quick video on his Instagram about it (see above).
