Suzuki Motorcycle India has announced the arrival in India of the new Avenis 125 scooter.

The new Avenis 125 is positioned as a direct competitor to the TVS NTorq sports scooter. The design looks similar to TVS Ntorq, but somehow Avenis’s aesthetics managed to stand out. In addition, the seat design to the overall style of the Suzuki Avenis seems familiar.

Suzuki Ride Connect and SEP Technology are standard on the new Suzuki Avenis.

The Suzuki Avenis is equipped with LED headlights and taillights, a USB charging outlet, and a complete digital LCD cluster. It has a speedometer, an odometer, a tachometer, a fuel level readout.

A battery indicator, and Overspeed alarms are all available. The Suzuki Avenis also comes with an external fuel-filling cap and two utility hooks for increased convenience.

In addition, its fully digital instrument cockpit is Bluetooth enabled, allowing the rider to connect it to a smartphone for cool features like turn-by-turn navigation, incoming call, WhatsApp Alert display, missed call and unread SMS alert, speed exceeding warning, phone battery level display, and estimated arrival time.

Power & Performance 

A 125cc engine with FI technology is at the heart of the new Suzuki Avenis 125. At 6,750 rpm, this engine produces 8.7 PS of maximum power, with a peak torque of 10Nm at 5,500 rpm.

According to the manufacturer, the scooter’s tremendous power and low kerb mass provide a thrilling ride. For the record, the scooter only weighs 106 kg.

It also has a 5.2-liter gasoline tank and a larger 12.8-liter storage compartment under the seat.

Brakes & Suspensions

The Suzuki Avenis is equipped with a single rear shock and a standard telescopic fork. It has a 12-inch front and 10-inch rear wheel and a front and rear disc and drum brakes.

Dimensions

The Suzuki Avenis 125 has a length of 1895 mm, a width of 710 mm, and a height of 1175 mm. It also weighs only 106 kg, making it agile and light.

The Avenis 125 has a ground clearance of 160mm and a seat height of 780mm.

It has been announced in two trims – Standard and Race Edition. While the standard trim has been priced at ₹86,700, the Race Edition trim has been slightly higher ₹87,000.
