Hyundai’s midsize premium SUV ‘Santa Fe‘ facelift model has arrived in Nepal.
Hyundai launched the Santa Fe facelift model in the international market in early 2021.
Hyundai’s official dealer for Nepal, Lakshmi Intercontinental Plc, has been selling and distributing Santa Fe in Nepal for a long time.
The Santa Fe 2021 model, which has been available in the Nepali market since 2004, has gone through many modifications.
Earlier, the company mainly modified the facelift model with grille, headlamps, and taillamps, but this time the Santa Feco interior can be changed.
On the outside, Company has employed a lot of chrome to its body.
Multiple chrome slats can be found on the front grille, exterior door handles, and chrome trace around the window frame.
Hyundai unveiled the new-generation Santa Fe a month before its global debut.
The Kona and Nexo SUVs serve as inspiration for Hyundai’s flagship SUV.
Upfront, there’s a prominent honeycomb grille with the italic “H” centered in the middle.
This vehicle, like the Kona, has slim headlamps on both sides and a big bumper.
It has succeeded in giving Santa-Fe the lofty and imposing profile of a full-size SUV.
The new Santa-Fe, on the other hand, looks best from the back.
The company offers new Santa-Fe sleek headlamps and a new stylish chrome grille.

The SUV, which competes with the Toyota Fortuner, comes equipped with an 8.0-inch touchscreen navigation system with voice recognition and DVD/USB/AUX-In/Bluetooth/iPod.

Handling & Brakes
Front ventilated disc brakes and rear drum brakes provide the force to slow down.
The front suspension is made up of McPherson Struts, while the back suspension is made up of multi-link shockers.
The luxury SUV is equipped with 235/60 R18 tubeless tyres.
18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels are wrapped around the tyres.
The new Santa Fe comes with several safety features, including Automated Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Remote Smart Parking Assist, and Highway Drive Assist.
This is the first time Nepal has brought Santa Fe in the petrol engine. The 2497 cc capacity petrol engine is new to Nepal.
Furthermore, it also offers a new Santa Fe in the 2151 cc diesel engine variant.
Santa Fe is said to have an ARAI-rated fuel efficiency of 11km/l when powered by a 2.2-liter diesel engine.
The Hyundai Santa Fe is up against several popular vehicles in the premium SUV sector, including the Toyota Fortuner, Chevrolet Trailblazer, and Ford Endeavour.
Price in Nepal
Lakshmi Intercontinental Pvt Ltd. has priced the petrol-engine-powered Santa-Fe GLS Automatic (AT) at Rs 1 crore 96 lakhs 68 thousand.
In contrast, the diesel variant of the GL AT is priced at Rs 1 crore 65 lakhs and 96 thousand and the GLS AT at Rs 1 crore 88 lakhs 96 thousand.
Its official sale is expected to begin next week.
