New 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N 600 HP With A Drift Mode!

Hyundai Ioniq 5 N – Overview

The following year, the N performance model will be added to the Hyundai Ioniq 5 portfolio.

However, we don’t yet fully understand it, a recent interview with Hyundai’s executive technical advisor Albert Biermann.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N will be built on the same E-GMP platform as the Kia EV6 GT, an all-wheel-drive vehicle that generates 576 horsepower (420 kilowatts) via dual motors.

Biermann did not disclose the Hyundai’s power, but he did state that it would be in the range of 600 hp (441 kW), implying that it might be as high as 620 hp (456 kW) or as low as 580 hp (427 kW).

Hyundai hasn’t decided on its output, though.

It will be significantly quicker than the Hyundai i30N, which needs 5.5 seconds to reach 62 mph (100 kilometers per hour).

It takes the EV6 GT 3.5 seconds, but that’s the simple part. How happy the car makes the drivers will be a defining characteristic of the driving experience.

According to Biermann, the Hyundai crossover will have a Drift Mode that may transfer most of the engine’s power to the back of the wheels for more excitement.

In addition, Hyundai aims to use “powerful friction brakes” and the regenerative braking system used in the EV.

The Ioniq 5 N will have to pass its Nurburgring testing made for Hyundai’s N models, said Biermann.

Hyundai has concealed its styling on the test vehicles our covert photographers have noticed over the past few months, so the crossover should have its look.

The front bumper on the N will set it apart from its non-N sister.

The vehicle has a roof spoiler and perhaps new taillight artwork at the back.

The larger 77.4-kilowatt-hour battery pack from Hyundai should be included in the car.

In 2023, Hyundai said it would debut the Ioniq 5 N.

We don’t know when that will be, but we hope it will be early in the year to maximize the likelihood that the automobile will be available for purchase before 2024.

Nothing is certain, but we anticipate finding out more information on the EV in the months before the announcement.
