
2021 New Hyundai I20- Now In Nepal.
Hyundai’s official distributor, Lakshmi Intercontinental Pvt Ltd, is preparing to sell its popular premium hatchback Hyundai i20 in Nepal.
The new generation I20, which the company was preparing to bring to Nepal a few months ago, will arrive in Nepal as soon as the ban is lifted.
Hyundai, which has brought three new models to Nepal after the previous lockdown, will launch three new models this year in 2021.
Grand i10 Neos and Hyundai Creta were launched in Nepal during the previous lockdown in 2020. Both of these SUVs are doing pretty well in the Nepali market.
Even now, the company has high hopes for the new generation I20 and the new generation Tucson.
These are some of the bestselling vehicles in Nepal and doing quite well in the Nepali auto market since last decades.
Hyundai unveiled the new generation i20 in India in 2020. Due to high demand in India, it could not be sold in Nepal.
The company has given many segment first features in the new generation i20. It also won India’s ‘Indian Car of the Year’ award in early 2021.

The SUV comes with 5-speed manual and automatic as well as 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual clutch gearbox.
The diesel engine will have a 6-speed manual gearbox. Of these, I20 can be estimated to be available in the Nepali market with a 1.2 liter petrol engine.
