To maintain exclusivity, the Ranger Raptor Special Edition will be constructed in small numbers.

Unfortunately, it’s essentially just a visual package for the tried-and-true Ranger Raptor, with inside and exterior aesthetic enhancements.

A custom style kit, consisting of racing-stripe decals, matt-black bodywork parts, and red interior highlights, is one of the Ranger Raptor Special Edition’s standout features.

The twin matte black racing stripes with red contrast lines that span from the hood through the roof to the lower body sides, rear wings, and tailgate are the most noticeable visual improvements.

The front tow hooks are red, and racing stripes continue from the bonnet to the roof, lower body sides, and rear wings and tailgate.

Matt black is used on the wheel arches, door handles, rear bumpers, and front grille.

The special edition Ranger Raptor is driven by the same 2.0-liter, four-cylinder twin-turbocharged Ecoblue diesel engine that powers the ordinary Ranger Raptor and generates 213 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque.

The machine is connected to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The aluminum double-wishbone suspension and performance chassis are also carried over.

For increased off-road capability, the Ranger Raptor has a 150mm wider track and a 51mm higher ride height than the conventional Ranger XLT.

Leather seats are standard, and the steering wheel, door cards, and custom Raceway Grey instrument panel all have red stitching.

The performance truck feels a little sportier inside because of the red stitching on the steering wheel, instrument panel, and door cards.

There’s also model-specific leather upholstery and a Raceway Grey instrument panel only available in the Special Edition.

Color options

The exterior paint colors for the Ranger Raptor Special Edition will be Performance Blue, Conquer Grey, and Frozen White.

Date of Launch

It will be available in Europe starting in October, alongside the regular Ranger Raptor, Range MS-RT, Ranger Stormtrak, and Ranger Wolftrak.

Ford is also working on a new C-SUV, which is believed to be based on its Territory SUV rather than the Mahindra XUV700 as intended, due to the cancellation of the joint venture with Mahindra.
