2022 Ferrari Purosangue SUV-Test Mule !

2022 Ferrari Purosangue SUV- Headlines

The Italian automaker Ferrari announced earlier this week that its first SUV would be ready for production by the end of 2022.

But, of course, you won’t have to wait for much longer than that to get your hands on the much-anticipated vehicle, as deliveries are set to begin next year, with deliveries starting in 2023.

Here are the major highlights of the 2022 Ferrari Purosangue SUV:

  • According to Ferrari, the Purosangue SUV will go into production later this year, with deliveries starting in 2023.
  • In 2018, Ferrari confirmed it was working on an SUV, and the Purosangue has been spotted testing on numerous occasions since then.
  • The Purosangue is expected to have a turbocharged and hybridized V-8 engine; however, rumors of an electrified V-12 are circulating.

But unfortunately, a bullet point suggesting that the manufacturer will put at least two all-new models into production by the end of the year was hidden in plain sight amidst all the celebrations of a double-digit increase in sales and a record-setting 11,115 deliveries.

The Purosangue was initially identified in 2018, and mules have been seen testing multiple times in the two years after then.

Previous spy photographs purported to show test mules based on the Maserati Levante, but the current photos show the SUV’s production bodywork.

Even though the Purosangue was unveiled in 2018, we still know little about it. Its moniker, which means “pure blood” or “thoroughbred” in Italian, is supposed to reassure even the most jaded of Ferrari fans that it is still a Ferrari.

Furthermore, there has been much speculation regarding what will be within.

At this time, it’s expected that you’ll be able to pick between a naturally aspirated V-12 and a V-6 hybrid powertrain (the SUV might also serve as the foundation for the brand’s first electric vehicle).

Few automobiles were the target of more spy images and videos last year than the Tesla Model S.

Varryx, a prominent car YouTuber, has produced three films in the previous two weeks showing a fully disguised Purosangue out on the streets near Ferrari’s headquarters in Maranello, Italy.

Ferrari has already revealed the third member of the Icona range.

The stunning sports car is inspired by 1960s racers and will be driven by a naturally aspirated V-12 producing 829 horsepower and 514 ft-lbs of torque.

The Purosangue is predicted to cost significantly more than the $225,501 Lamborghini Urus and $179,986 Aston Martin DBX SUVs, with costs estimated to start at over $300,000.
