New Honda CB150R ExMotion- When Beauty Meets Power.
The Japanese famous motorcycle manufacturer ‘ Honda ‘ has recently started selling the production version of the 150SS, in one of the South East Asian auto market, ‘ Thailand ‘.
This bike is named Honda CB150R ExMotion, with the price tag of Thai THB 99,800, and a bit overpriced if it comes to the Nepali market.
The ExMotion, Honda’s newest motorcycles, has been designed as life in Exciting Motion design.
This bike is inspired by the 150SS Racer concept, which has also been showcased at Bangkok Motor Show back in 2017.

Honda CB150R ExMotion Design,Specs & Performance
Talking about its looks and design, and as mentioned above, this new motorcycle is similar to the 150SS Racer concept, but still, there have been some modifications to make it road legal.
The new CB150R Exmotion comes with a petal disc and not so broad swing arms.
It also gets the split seats while pillion seat seems also comfortable.
There is some significant change at the back of its new tail lamps, making it looks sportier and neat from every angle.
FYI, this bike is based on an Inner Pivot type diamond type frame.
And with the 41 mm upside-down front fork and mono-shock unit at the rear, it looks like this bike made for serious racing ability with high comfortable aerodynamic.
The new CB150R Exmotion consists of full-LED Headlamps, LED taillights and turn indicators.
It also comes with a multifunctional digital LCD instrument console.
Moving towards its dimension, the CB150R ExMotion, a naked streetfighter motorcycle, has a total length of 822 mm, which is a bit shorter than other usual naked motorcycles.
This bike’s width is 1973 mm, whereas the total height is 1053 mm, but its actual seat height for the rider is 795 mm.
This covers the total wheelbase of 1296 mm while its full ground clearance is only 139 mm, which is suitable for road ride but not so good for off-road tracks.
It has a total weight of 123 kgs which makes it lighter and faster and increases the fuel efficiency of the bike.
As colour options are concerned, the standard non-ABS variant is available in four different colours- Asteroid Black Metallic, Mat Laurel Green, Millennium Red, and Pearl Cadet Gray.
Where ABS variant is available in only two different colors- Gray-Black & Full Black.
Talking about its engine and performance, the new Honda CB150R ExMotion is one of Honda’s most potent motorbikes in the 150 cc section.
The bike has a displacement of 149.16 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve DOHC engine.
The engine produces 17.1 PS of power at a maximum of 9,000 rpm and 14.4 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm.
This bike’s powertrain compliant with Euro 6 emission and is paired to a six-speed gearbox transmission.
The Honda CB150R Exmotion comes with a diamond type frame and a 41 mm upside-down front and rear mono-shock.
This bike is equipped with disc brakes on both sides of the wheels.
The front wheels come with a 296 mm disc brake with radial-mount four-pot callipers, while the rear wheels have a 220 mm disc brake.
Furthermore, it has got dual-channel ABS and G sensors that have been obtained from the Honda CBR1000RR.
The bike has 17-inch alloy wheels shod with 110 section front and 150 section back tyres.
In case Honda’s ExMotion arrives in Nepal, it will be facing direct competition with Yamaha MT-15.
Regardless of its low capacity, it is a premium bike. Yet, the features used in it will make it more expensive than the MT-15.
If this motorcycle comes to Nepal, the Honda CCB150R ExMotion will be around Rs.550,000, which is pretty expensive for the 150 cc, but if you’re a beginner and have a budget to buy it or looking for the best bike under 200 cc, then why not? This bike is best for a daily city ride, a great experience!
