2025 Deus Vayanne EV Hypercar – Overview

Another electric company is coming onto the market, but this one comes with some well-known names. Deus Automobiles, based in Austria, revealed its first vehicle, the electric Vayanne hypercar, during the 2022 New York International Auto Show.

Here are the major highlights:

  • The Deus Vayanne is the latest EV hypercar with a claimed output of 2200 horsepower and 1475 pound-feet of torque.
  • The Vayanne, according to the Austrian manufacturer, will hit 62 mph in under two seconds and reach a top speed of 248 mph.
  • According to Deus, the Vayanne will be delivered starting in 2025, and just 99 units will be manufactured.

The Vayanne was developed in collaboration with Italdesign, the design business founded by Giorgetto Giugiaro, and Williams Advanced Engineering, a spinoff of the eponymous Formula 1 team, and is expected to reach customers in 2025.

Deus describes the Vayanne as a “production-oriented concept,” and the business boasts some imposing performance figures t (along with the footnote that they are “computer-simulated performance, not validated”).

Deus claims the Vayanne produces 2200 horsepower and 1475 pound-feet of torque; however, the number and direction of the electric motors are unknown.

According to Deus, this will accelerate the Vayanne to 62 mph in less than 1.99 secs and a top speed of 248 mph.

Although it’s unclear how much Williams Advanced Engineering was engaged in creating Vayanne’s powertrain, hence, receive these statements with a grain of salt.

The design is attractive, albeit a little cliched. For example, the front and rear grilles are said to be inspired by an infinity loop, but we see Bugatti Chiron and Lotus Evija hints instead.

The Vayanne has the dimensions of a classic mid-engined supercar and is adorned with multiple scoops and vents.

Deus claims that natural leather is made using “sustainable, technologically advanced solutions” on the inside but does not elaborate on these techniques.

According to Deus, the Vayanne will be manufactured in a limited quantity of 99 units, with delivery beginning in 2025.
