2023 Toyota Tacoma Now With Chrome Rims & Black Trim!

2023 Toyota Tacoma – Overview

Taco fans who want to customize their 2023 Toyota Tacoma will have new options if they wish for the SR5 variant.

Because it now comes with new Chrome and SX aesthetic kits from Toyota.

Here are the major highlights:

  • Chrome and SX options are now available on the SR5 variants of the 2023 Toyota Tacoma.
  • Chrome exterior accents and polished 18-inch wheels are included with the Chrome package.
  • Black 18-inch wheels, exterior badging, overfenders, mirror caps, and a unique bed graphic are all part of the SX package.

Only the SR5 crew cab (the Double Cab) and the standard 5-foot cargo bed unlock the Chrome package.

Of course, the optional 3.5-liter V-6 engine in the truck is also necessary.

The Chrome package adds more sparkle to the Tacoma with this setup without paying for the more expensive Limited model.

The door handles, exhaust tips and Tacoma lettering on the tailgate are among the gleaming components included with the new makeover.

Similarly, the SR5’s stock 16-inch wheels are replaced with polished 18-inch rims. Inside, the shift knob is also covered in leather.

The SX package was only available on the SR base model.

However, it is now available on the SR5 for 2023. The only prerequisite to unlock the SX option, unlike the Chrome package, is to check the box for the V-6.

This implies that the black-out look can be used with cab designs and bed lengths.

Black exterior emblems, mirror caps, and overfenders are included with the SX package.

Black 18-inch wheels have replaced the standard 16-inch wheels with black lug nuts. A bedside SX decal is the additional visual signal with the black bundle.

Toyota also adds some new features to the Tacoma range for 2023. For example, solar Octane, unique paint color for the TRD Pro, is now available.

Taller coil springs in the front boost the truck’s nose by 1.1 inches in the Trail Edition.

The added lift, combined with removing the front air dam, raises the approach angle by 5 degrees to 34 degrees.

A half-inch spacer between the leaf springs and the rear axle housing raises the truck’s back end, slightly raising the departure angle to 23.6 degrees.

The breakover angle rises to 26.4 degrees, an increase of just over 5 degrees.

Finally, all V-6-powered SR5 vehicles now include passive entry and push-button start as standard equipment.

While Toyota highlighted all of the new features available on the ’23 Tacoma, no pricing for the trim levels or new packages was announced.
