2023 Toyota RAV4 – Overview
RAV4 is one of the on-demand SUVs on the auto market.
Toyota‘s success undoubtedly has a lot to do with its reputation for dependability.
However, we laud this tiny SUV for its spacious interior, smooth ride, and user-friendly technology.
Additionally, a wide range of trim options is offered to match your preferences or financial situation.
For instance, the RAV4 TRD Off-Road trim is one of the few in its class to offer improved off-road capabilities through all-terrain tires and unique suspension modifications.
2023 Toyota RAV4 Exterior Design
There’s a decent likelihood that the Toyota RAV4 will alter in 2023.
The RAV4 of this generation made its debut in 2019.
Thus revisions are probably coming in 2023.

2023 Toyota RAV4 Interior Design
The driving posture, interior space, and simplicity of entry and exit are all excellent.
However, the RAV4 would receive a higher rating if the front passenger seat could be lowered on most trims or weren’t positioned so high.
The front passenger seat is power-adjustable only on the 2023 Toyota RAV4 Limited.
Tall drivers would wish for a little more adjustability in the steering wheel and driver’s seat, despite their good range of adjustment.
Positive external visibility is desirable.
Large, easy-to-read labelling and a straightforward control arrangement are both features.
Everything else is exactly where you expect it to be, except the music system and climate system controls, which are islands.
The large rubberized knobs on the HVAC controls are also great.
The touchscreen being too far away from the driver is our sole complaint.
In particular, turning the tuning knob takes reaching.
Suspension Performance & Comfort
An excellent balance between control and softness has been achieved in tuning the RAV4’s suspension.
The body doesn’t float or bind when you drive over bumps, and minor to moderate impacts are absorbed with no fuss.
The front seats are well-shaped and adequately padded, but on extended rides, the seat bottoms start to feel flat.
In addition, it could be challenging to find a comfortable position on the passenger side due to the lack of adjustment.
The RAV4 is often silent when travelling at high speeds.
The only time the engine sound changes are when you press the gas pedal hard for a sudden burst of speed.
The climate system performs well, which is good. Air distribution is excellent with vents for the backseat, which can be entirely closed off in the front.

Unfortunately, the RAV4 fails to impress in this area.
Around town, the engine runs willingly, and passing and merging go without incident.
You might, however, become aware of the engine’s ultimately meagre power delivery if you’re in a great hurry.
RAV4 Adventure test car needed 9.1 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph, slightly longer than the class average.
Another issue we have is with the steering, which lacks the proper amount of feel and heaviness and is hazy towards the centre.
So it’s simple to underestimate your amount of contribution.
In brighter news, the RAV4’s optional enhanced all-wheel-drive system features hill descent control, configurable terrain settings, and torque vectoring at the rear axle.
These systems and the RAV4 Adventure’s reasonable ground clearance provide it with above-average off-road capability for a small SUV.
The touchscreen and the conventional buttons on the RAV4’s interface are simple to learn without consulting the owner’s manual.
But despite the RAV4’s recent age, the touchscreen’s graphics appear stale.
Although not particularly impressive, the sound system functions adequately.
You do receive standard smartphone integration for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
It’s also fortunate because Toyota’s native Entune software is still clumsy.
The remarkable range of included driver aids is impressive.
It has features like automated emergency braking, automatic high lights, sleepy driver recognition, adaptive cruise control that operates at 0 mph, lane-keeping assist, and something called Line Tracing Assist, which is an active (but not hands-free) steering aid.

The RAV4 comes with the biggest cargo compartments in its class.
With the rear seats folded, it offers 69.8 cubic feet of space and 37.5 cubic feet with them up.
The RAV4’s low cargo floor also makes it simple to load—multiple shelves and bins in the cabin’s front store various travel accessories.
Certain RAV4 models have a towing capacity of up to 3,500 pounds, which is more than normal for a small SUV.
The RAV4 will appeal to parents with young children.
