2023 Porsche Macan T- Top Notch SUV!
2023 Porsche Macan T – Overview
For 2022, Porsche unified the Macan lineup, replacing the Turbo with an improved GTS that retains the 434-horsepower twin-turbo V-6 from the preceding Turbo.
However, for 2023, Porsche is adding a new Macan T to the lineup, which will sit between the base model and the Macan S.
With its essential performance equipment, the Macan T, like the T versions of the 718 and 911 models, strives to give a crisper driving experience.
Here are the major highlights of the 2023 Porsche Macan T:
- The 2023 Porsche Macan T adds performance features like launch control and Active Suspension Management as standard between the base model and the Macan S.
- The Macan T shares the regular Macan’s 261-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
- The Porsche Macan T will go on sale in the spring, with a starting price of $62,000.
For 2022, Porsche unified the Macan lineup, replacing the Turbo with an improved GTS that retains the 434-horsepower twin-turbo V-6 engine from the preceding Turbo.
However, in 2023, Porsche will add a new Macan T to the lineup, which will sit between the base model and the Macan S.
Like the T variants of the 718 and 911, the Macan T strives to give a crisper driving experience with its standard performance equipment.
The 2023 Macan T will be driven by the same turbocharged 2.0-litre inline-four that powers the standard model, with 261 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.
The engine is mated with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Porsche weighs 129 pounds less than the twin-turbo 2.9-litre V-6 featured in the S and GTS models, allowing for more agile handling and cornering.
In addition, the Macan T, like all Macans, will feature an all-wheel drive.
The Macan T will come standard with the Sport Chrono package, including a steering-wheel-mounted driving mode selection, launch control, and an analogue and digital stopwatch.
Porsche Active Suspension Management is standard, and the all-wheel-drive system has been tuned to provide more power to the rear wheels.
In addition, anti-roll bars have been stiffened on models with the optional air suspension, and the optional torque-vectoring system has been tweaked.
Porsche claims the Macan T will reach 60 mph in 5.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 144 mph, in line with the base model’s performance claims.
Exterior detailing in Agate Grey Metallic, a black Macan T emblem on the side blades, and black exhaust pipes and side window surrounds identify the Macan T.
The T rides on 20-inch Macan S wheels instead of the 19-inch wheels found on the standard Macan.
The Macan T features a standard heated GT sports steering wheel and Sport-Tex stripe-pattern decoration on its standard eight-way power seats on the inside.
The inside improvements include embossed Porsche headrests, silver stitching, and distinctive black aluminium Macan T sill plates.
Price & Date of Launch
Porsche has not yet disclosed pricing for the T, but a beginning price of roughly $60,000 seems fair given that it would split the range’s closest vehicles’ basic MSRPs.
The 2023 Porsche Macan T will be ready to order early this spring.
