2023 KIA EV9 Concept Revealed!
2023 KIA EV9 – Overview
According to a press statement on Kia’s U.K. media site, Europe will be the first to acquire a production version of the EV9 SUV in 2023.
Even though the firm did not mention a U.S. version, we believe the EV9 will eventually make its way to our shores.
Here are the major highlights:
- Kia has stated that the EV9 SUV will be available in Europe in 2023.
- While Kia hasn’t announced if the EV9 will be sold in the United States, we’re confident it will.
- Last November, the all-electric, three-row EV9 concept was unveiled at the Los Angeles car show.
The EV9 concept is an all-electric SUV with three rows of seats comparable in size and shape to the Kia Telluride, which was unveiled at the L.A. auto show in November.
Kia hasn’t released much about the impending EV9 other than confirming manufacturing for the European market.
However, we already knew it would be built on the same platform as the Hyundai Ioniq 7, also unveiled last year.
The e-GMP platform underpins the considerably smaller Kia EV6, and Hyundai Ioniq 5 will be expanded for Kia and Hyundai’s large E.V. SUVs.
According to KIA, the EV9 will have a range of 300 miles on a fully charged battery and a maximum charging rate of 350 kilowatts.
We believe the U.S. version will debut in 2024 and cost roughly $50,000.
