2023 Honda CR-V Exterior Design Fully Exposed In China.
2023 Honda CRV Specs – Overview
The 2018 CR-V, Honda’s worst-kept secret, made an unofficial premiere in February when fully revealing patent photographs of the SUV’s exterior revealed its evolutionary appearance.
These matched what we’d seen in spy images from last year when disguised prototypes were discovered testing.
The sixth-generation model is now in the spotlight, and we’re getting a closer look ahead of its official debut.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in China has homologated the revised model.
Images of upcoming models are released on the MIIT site to ensure authenticity.
Design & Aesthetic
These images show the version offered in the world’s most populous country, but the global model should be nearly identical.
It’s not a fascinating design, but it does appear more current than the fifth-generation model, which has been on the market since 2016.
Along with these photographs, we have some specifications.
The local Dongfeng Honda joint venture’s 2023 CR-V measures 4,703 mm (185.1 inches) in length, 1,866 mm (73.4 inches) in width, and 1,690 mm (66.5 inches) tall.
While it may appear like you’re looking at the same car in the adjacent photo collection, you’re looking at two different vehicles.
The vehicle with all-wheel drive seats five passengers, while the one without the AWD symbol on the tailgate seats up to seven.
If you’re curious about weight, both cars weigh roughly 1,685 kilos (3,714 pounds) and have a 2,700 mm wheelbase (106.2 in).
A turbocharged 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 190 horsepower (142 kW) and a CVT sends power to the road.
With this hardware, you can reach a top speed of 117 mph (188 km/h). The FWD variant rides on 17-inch alloys, while the AWD version rides on larger 18-inch wheels.
2023 Honda CRV Release Date
The official announcement is expected in the coming months, but as you can see, the cat is (almost) out of the bag already.
