2023 GMC Canyon AT4X Off-Road Model-Revealed!
2023 GMC Canyon AT4X Off-Road Model – Overview
The Canyon mid-size truck from GMC is due for an update, and a new model will be introduced this summer for the 2023 model year.
Here are the major highlights:
- GMC will reveal a new Canyon mid-size truck and the new AT4X off-road variant this summer.
- Expect Multimatic spool-valve dampers, front and rear lockers, and all-terrain tires because it’ll be GMC’s equivalent of the Colorado ZR2.
- The truck’s rock rails and 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels are shown in this teaser shot.
A more rugged off-road AT4X model will accompany it, just added to the full-size Sierra. It will be GMC’s take on the Chevy Colorado ZR2.
GMC presently provides a Canyon AT4 with Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, an off-road-tuned suspension, a lock back differential, and a transfer case skid plate without the X.
The AT4X will increase the truck’s off-road capability while adding new features.
While GMC hasn’t released any details about the AT4X, we expect it to take features from the Colorado ZR2, such as Multimatic’s spool-valve dampers, locking front and rear differentials, Goodyear Wrangler Territory all-terrain tires, and a wider stance with higher clearances.
The new Canyon will also have a fresh appearance.
The AT4X’s badging, rock rails, and 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels are shown in this teaser shot.
We’ll have more information about the 2023 GMC Canyon and the new AT4X variant this summer. Stay tuned for more updates.
