For 2023, Ford has added the off-road-focused Rattler variant to the F-150 lineup.
The Rattler, based on the XL FX4, features special 18-inch wheels, a dual-exhaust system, hill-descent control, a locking rear differential, and an off-road suspension system as a rattle-snake-inspired logo throughout the design.
The Rattler’s position in the F-150 lineup makes it a more reasonable choice for those who want more off-road performance but don’t want to pay as much as the Tremor or Raptor.

However, we prefer the added features of the Lariat over the XLT, which is a step up from the base XL work truck.
