The Colors For The 2022 Ford Ranger Splash Limited Edition.

2022 Ford Ranger Splash Edition

Last year, Ford announced the reintroduction of the Ranger’s retro-inspired Splash package and the availability of a limited number of 2022 vehicles in various striking colors, which would be issued in stages over the next few months.

At the time, the Snow Edition was the first of these one-of-a-kind Splash Limited Edition colors to be unveiled. In addition, Ford has released additional images and details on the new Forest Edition and Sand Edition vehicles.

Because, well, snow, the Snow Edition’s particular paint color is called Avalanche. It covers most of the mid-size truck’s bodywork and shields the grille nostrils.

Black leather upholstery with Ash Gray contrast stitching and carbon-fiber-like stripes on the seats are standard on the Lariat trim level. Ford claims 750 Snow Editions will be produced, with delivery this spring.

As its name suggests, the 2022 Ford Ranger Sand Edition is the color of beaches, dunes, and deserts.

Desert Sand is the actual name of the paint color. Unlike the Snow Edition, the grille nostrils are painted red, adding a splash of color to the otherwise neutral color scheme.

The inside is the same, except the XLT trim level replaces the leather with black fabric. The contrast stitching and carbon-fiber-inspired design elements are still present.

With the Sand Edition, Ford is reserving fewer Rangers, claiming that only roughly 500 models will be available when orders open this summer.

Our favorite of the new unique versions is the Forest Edition. We think the truck’s most affluent and rough appearance comes from Forged Green’s stunning color.

It looks great with the black 18-inch wheels and red grille nostrils. In addition, black cloth upholstery and the aforementioned inside decorations are included in the XLT trim level.

When the Forest Edition is released this summer, it will be available in a limited run of roughly 500 copies.

All three Splash Limited Editions will set you back an additional $1495.

The regular Splash aesthetic package, which includes orange paint, black body-side graphics, and unique interior amenities, costs the same.

Unlike the Limited Editions, the orange Splash option will be available on both XLT and Lariat models throughout the 2022 model year.
