Ford Nepal Replaced Endeavor With Everest. Here’s Why!
All-New 2021 Ford Everest coming soon in Nepal.
Ford’s official dealer, Geo Automobiles, is prepared to replace the Ford Endeavor, which is made in India and is planning to import the all-new Ford Everest in Nepal, which is made in Thailand.
With the sudden announcement, Ford India declared to withdraw their production and selling of Ford Endeavor from the Indian market.
The reason was similar to Harley Davidson. They reported that they could no longer sell Ford Endeavour in the Indian market due to its poor sales record.
Although the import of Ford Endeavor will stop, the company had already been selling and distributing Everest SUV in Nepal. So this can be taken as the second innings in Nepal.
The company has started booking by setting the price of Everest at Rs 1.99 crores.
With a 2.0-litre BE turbo diesel engine, Everest has a 10-speed automatic gearbox.
As a result, Everest SUV is a full-feature-loaded SUV. In addition, hi-tech features with voice commands are available in SUVs to perform high performance on off-road routes.
Announcing that Everest’s booking is open in Nepal, Akash Golchha, Managing Director of Geo Automobiles, said, “Everest is an excellent model for those who want an SUV.” The vehicle will be available in Nepal in the first quarter of 2022.
